One Hell of A Week....

I can't get this picture right but wanted it on here...
The Back
Shelby and Kaydince the Artists of my Belly
Well since I decided to do this we have had one hell of a week.  Shawn got the call at 3 am on Saturday the 2nd of June that his Grandmother passed away.  That put me on find a find a flight to Minnesota mission 2012.  He flew out Monday and came back in this afternoon.  He said it was great to see family but it was a sad occasion to see all those he had not for such a long time.  He got to work on his Dad's new boat and see Minnesota in June which I have never been able to do (the closest was Nic and Amanda's May wedding 5 years ago). I on the other hand have been talking to my belly saying PLEASE don't come this week PLEASE stay in there until after the 17th.  I had my hopefully 2nd to last doctors apt before the baby comes and I am 25% effaced and 0 dilated, which is good for now!  I watched all 3 of my families kids yesterday (good practice for years to come) and I let the girls color my belly for my 38 weeks shot they loved it and I had to wash it off when Kaydince was napping or she would have gone crazy! I have my 10 year reunion on Saturday and I will let you know how that goes... (not from the school I graduated from but the school I grew up in) Until next week.

Our Crazy Life

Well this has been one hell of a year.  In October we found out we were expecting our first child and now here it is June 1st and we have 16 days until Shawn flies in and 19 days until our daughter's due date... I have decided to try and see if I can do this blogging thing and keep up with it so here it goes....

I got laid off from my job the end of September and we had decided that I was going to get out of Page for awhile and head to Texas, well... One week before I was to head South East we found out we were expecting.  After I got here and got back with my favorite Doctor in the world we decided that I would deliver here... Shawn is still working with Aramark on Lake Powell and he is flying in the 17th to start his month of paternity leave.  I have a conversation daily with this little girl saying please just stay in there until your Daddy gets here! For the last month I have been working at Becker Vineyards on weekends and it is nice to talk to strangers again and to be working.  I am ready to have a nice glass of wine soon too! I have been sewing up a storm and have just one more class to take before she comes also.  I am trying to get stuff done but too much is going through my mind! Hopefully Shawn's family will be here after she is born and get to meet my family for the first time also. (Well they have met my Dad but the rest of them)

After the baby is born we are going to head back to Arizona for Shawn to work his last season and put our house on the market.  We are planning to move back to Texas in the fall and find a house here, I am going to school at Austin Community College trying to finish my Associates in Business which will hopefully happen in the next year to year in a half.  Well I need to finish doing Laundry for our "Sack of Flour"

I hope y'all enjoy this!
